This is the Tim Cole edit of Storyteller. The Aboriginal elder featured in this is Guboo Ted Thomas. He was from the Eden region of Southern NSW.
This is my favourite composition I have done so far from my Storyteller EP (98)
The guitar line came from a bike trip I did with a girlfriend at the time. We rode from Queensland down to Melbourne. I loved watching the trains snake their way through the cane fields in Northern NSW and would play along with them. The harmonics you hear on guitar are my interpretation of a boomerang being thrown and returning to the skilled hunter.
